# Reuse content in multiple places with aliases

Aliases let you include the same content in multiple places within a space. When you open an alias, the original item opens.

## Create an alias

1. Select the item, then in the items menu choose **Copy as Alias**.
2. Paste it anywhere you want the alias to be created.

## Delete an alias

To delete an alias, select the item, then choose **Delete** from the item menu or press ⌫ (Backspace).

Deleting an alias does **not** remove the original content it points to.
