Use checklist items

Press 4 to turn the selected items into tasks, then T to check or uncheck them.

Select one or more items and press 4. Each gets a checkbox.

Press T to check the selected tasks. Press T again to uncheck them.
4 turns three items into tasks. T checks “Renew passport”, then checks and unchecks “Water the plants”.
To find tasks later, search for is:checked or is:unchecked.
