Switch between List and Column views

Press L to show a level of your outline as a List or as Columns. You can also click the view icon at the top of the column.

Sub-items are indented under their parent. Best for writing and editing.

Each level gets its own column. Best for finding your way around a large outline.

Press L to switch between List and Column view.

Your selected view is remembered the next time you open that column.
